han and Christopher worked together in creating the piece, Christopher would send han, small scene, screen shoots of the Joker, so han could get a fill of the character, and han would talk to christopher about his ideas for the theme of the joker.
sort of quality han wanted was razor blades,on strings, more and more tention and with the punk influence that was in the character of the joker. he wanted it to be a minimal thing
han intention when creating the sound track was to create sometime new, different from what most bad guys have, he wanted the feel of anarchy to do, and found these two notes clashing with each other, and every second it builds up more tention and more tention as the two notes go on. Han wanted something people could hate, he didn't want a happy summer blockbuster.
the final score worked well with the joker for the Dark Knight, i fill like it works cause it sums up the Joker as a character, its always building up tention, you don't know whats going to happen next, anything could happen within the next few seconds, it just sounds like total anarchy, which is a good personification for the joker, since he follows his own rules. plus the piece has a dark fill to it, which is kind of the point Dark Knight to be dark, and thats why i think this piece works.
